Dejan Kulusevski has been a great signing for Tottenham Hotspur to say the least. The Swede had a great start to life in the Premier League, and at 22, has a great potential to develop further. His first goal in the competition came against reigning champions Manchester City, and he has been a regular for Antonio Conte over the course of his stay.
Technically, he is still a Juventus player on loan at Spurs. However, the London side is preparing to make his move permanent in due course.
Dejan Kulusevski to become permanent member of Spurs squad soon
As per the deal agreed between the two teams, there is an obligation to buy for Tottenham in case two conditions are met. First, they must qualify for the Champions League next season, and the second is that he plays at least 45 minutes in 20 games.
If both those conditions are met, then Tottenham must pay €35 million to Juventus. Otherwise, they simply have an option to make his move permanent.
This season, Dejan Kulusevski has played seven games in the Premier League, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Regardless of whether or not the conditions to make the move permanent are met, Tottenham will not miss out on the 22-year-old, especially since the player is very happy where he is right now.
