Netflix dropped the official trailer featuring Mike Flanagan’s latest horror series, ‘The Midnight Club‘ The series follows a novel of the same name by Christopher Pike, the story of the ten-episode horror show follows the tale of a group of terminally ill patients in Rotterdam Home who has gathered at midnight to epic some scary tales. The entire group starts the pact to connect the others from beyond the grave as one of them should perish.
In the trailer, we have seen an ominous version of “The Possum Kingdom” by Toddies playing in the background as we have met with the cast, and get a peek at how they’ll be terrorized over the course of ten episodes. There is a group of seven terminally ill young adults residing in the Rotterdam Home hospice run by a masterpiece doctor.
At every midnight a meeting happens, and they tell each other scary stories. The entire group has believed that whoever dies first has to try communicating with them from beyond the grave. The twist comes while the first one died; some strange things start to happen to them.
The Midnight Club: Cast
The series features Adia, Luby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and William Chris Langenkamp like the enigmatic doctor presiding over the Rotterdam home.
The creator of the series is Flanagan, and “The haunting of Bly Manor” writer is Leah Fong. Now Flanagan become the executive producer for Intrepid Pictures across Trevor Macy and Adam Dasull, Intrepid Pictures’ vice president of television. Now Fong also serving as an executive producer with Julia Bicknell, and “The Midnight Club” the authors are Pike, Elan Gale, James Flanagan, and Chinaka Hodge with Flanagan set to direct the first two episodes.
The Midnight Club: Release Date
The ten-episode horror thriller show ‘The Midnight Club’ will hit on 7th October 2022 on Netflix, the film definitely provides some Halloween vibes.
