The game monitor also offers 1 ms response times, a 165 Hz refresh rate, with the ability to overclock to 170 Hz as needed (GtG). Naturally, AOC has added Adaptive Sync support to reduce image tearing, even if it only works at 48 Hz.
AOC further notes that the panel has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits of peak brightness while viewing SDR content, and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. In order to display HDR material, the AGON Pro PD27S should be able to exceed 400 nits.
Additionally, according to AOC, the AGON Pro PD27S achieves 97% DCI-P3 coverage and completely covers the sRGB color spectrum. The gaming monitor offers three sizes of thin bezels as well as a bigger bottom bezel that bears the Porsche Design emblem.
About the Other Features
AOC has also added two 5 W speakers, four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two HDMI 2.0 connections, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Unfortunately, there is a lack of USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 2.0 compatibility. Separately, AOC has added RGB illumination to the AGON Pro PD27S, which can be customized using the company’s Light FX software.
According to AOC, the monitor stand was created using sandblasted metal and is modeled after sports vehicles. In addition, the stand supports may be tilted, swiveled, and they can be raised or lowered by up to 150 mm. Ordering the Porsche Design AOC AGON Pro PD27S costs €539 in the Eurozone and £429.99 in the UK. On AOC’s website, you may learn more about the AGON Pro PD27S.
