The teaser of one of the controversial shows, ‘Rocket Boys‘ unveils the teaser of the second season on this Independence Day. The series that once again enchants the story of how India become the strongest nuclear power county features Jim Saurabh and Iswak Singh as the two precious scientists Dr. Homi J Bhabha, and Dt Vikram Sarabhai.
The first season premiered on SonyLIV last February and the second season is expected to hit on later this year or early month of next year.
the short 45-second teaser starts with a look at the historical nuclear test that happened in Pokhran in 1974 that has marked India’s entry into the world of nuclear power. We have heard a voice that says, “India will not be threatened. Not anymore. We are prepared to take any action necessary.”
The teaser then continues with, “After this day, no one dared to challenge the sovereignty of India.” The event followed via a brief look at Jim Sarabh and Sarabhai along with a glimpse while India’s prime Minister Indira Gandhi along with Arjun Radhakrishnan appears as the young version of APJ Abdul Kalam.
After sharing the short tease on social media, SonyLiv wrote, “As the country comes together to celebrate its 75th year of Independence, Sony LIV reveals the teaser for the much-awaited second season of Rocket Boys. In the first season, we have seen how the two intelligent scientists showed the determination to walk on the path to generating India’s first rocket and became the collaborator and friends, it’s unfortunate it was not continued for long.
The series revealed how they have drifted due to the different opinions on harnessing nuclear power in India. We expected that the second season has taken the story forward from the year the 1960s to Dr. Bhabha’s death in 1966, and beyond.

The second season has made by Nikkhil Advani, Rot Kapur Films, an Emmay Entertainment, and Rocket Boys has produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani and the director are Abhay Pannu. In this second season, we will see Regina Cassandra, Rajat Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Saba Azad in important roles.
