Yesterday, the Ryzen 7 4700G which is the part of the AMD Renoir desktop APU was spotted on 3DMark Time Spy by @_rogame and thanks to @TUM_APISAK this time for digging out the upcoming hexa-core AMD Ryzen 5 4400G Renoir APU.
Previously we had a lot of leaks stating the basic specs of this 6-core APU, first leaked by Igor’sLAB, and Biostar also accidentally spilt out some info on these Renoir APUs as well. According to the previous leaks, the Ryzen 5 4400G should have the OPN code of “100-000000143”.
As shown in the screenshot by @TUM_APISAK, this is indeed the Ryzen 5 4400G, the next budget Renoir APU, with 6 cores and 12 threads running at 3.7 GHz base clock speed and 4.3 GHz boost clock speed. The number of CUs in graphics or which Vega graphics will be used remains unknown, however, the clock frequency is seen to be 1,900 MHz.
@TUM_APISAK also mentioned about the 3DMark 11 Performance scores of the Ryzen 5 4400G APU, where it scores 10,241 points in the Physics test and 4,395 points in the graphics test. However, if we compare this to the previous-gen Ryzen 5 3400G which scored 4,037 points in the iGPU graphics test, which is about 9% improvement.
However, in Physics test, the Ryzen 5 3400G attained 12,496 points, which seems strange compared to the new Renoir APU, but eventually with more accurate leaks, the CPU performance will get clear.
