Sony LIV has introduced a new trailer for the college drama series, ‘Meme Boys’. On behalf of the second anniversary, Sony LIV Witnessed a huge growth in the counting of subscribers that reaches from 0.8 million to 18.2 million. Now, streaming services trying to maintain the growth rate by expanding their production in several languages. You can see multiple Tamil web series already declared their event.
The story of the Sony LIV adaptation revolves around a group of college students who are good friends among which there are bots and one is a girl. Suddenly four college students discover an unidentified meme page that ridicules their oppressive college administration at the time. After a revolution takes place in the college.
The trailer starts with a voice of a teacher, who is asking his students what they have done, are they smoking weed? The students answered no, then the teacher asked to make quarrel with other departments, they still said no, then the question is what they have done. The reality is they just posted memes for youth.
The trailer reveals someone watching dreams to be famous, one is desperate for a two-wheeler, while his parents are against it. The girl in the group faces the force to become married to a suitor. Among them one boy is very intelligent a tech-genius, he makes a technology through which Indian students can be spread all over the world using VPN. The students start to work on it, and stand on a page named, ‘Meme Boys’. It just takes a few times to spread all over the world, making memes on some serious topics. This one meme creates huge chaos among the students.
The twist comes while the din of the college gets calls from the Cyber Crime branch, they complained they will leave all the fraud cases, threats, and others just to ban meme pages. Now, college takes some strict steps to handle them.
All the students gathered and told the meme boys page member that their page was infamous for the college name after they decide to post a meme against it. One meme post on democracy and the entire scenario has changed, youth start to stand with mem boys page members. The members now facing mental combat with their college din.
