We all eagerly waiting for Phase 4 updates of the Marvel cinematic universe. We already have got many films and series in 2022. There are many ways to entertain us.
In the wake of Avengers: Endgame, many things have changed. It’s more than five years half of life become died in the universe. The Avenger’s citizens on Earth do not even know it exists. Now looking ahead, Marvel holds a lot planned in between film and TV shows.
We have shared all the upcoming Marvel movies and TV shows in Phase 4:
1. I Am Groot
Release Date: 10th August 2022
I Am Groot is mainly an upcoming Disney+ series that actually become a collection of five shorts that’s featuring baby Groot. The voice will be given by Vin Diesel.
2. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Release Date: 17th August 2022
While the world was in turmoil due to the damage that happened by the battles with superpowered elements. Jennifer Walters is a single, 30-something attorney who always has a tight schedule at work as she builds the face that is known as the ‘superhuman law division’ in her firm.
We all know Walter is the cousin of Bruce Banner aka Mark Ruffalo. Bruce helps her to transform into the 6-foot-7-inch incredible She-Hulk. The transformation process is really interesting as it fills anger and fear. After the transformations she becomes unstoppable. After some days she wants to go back to her normal life, but after that she enjoys it. Tatiana Maslany feels connected with both the comic book version of She-Hulk and also about the MCU tone completely.
Walters is facing a struggle to maintain the balance of her life as a lawyer, and her own struggles to find love, she thinks dating in her 30s is really frustrating. However, she just gets a new identity as a superpowered being. Now it’s going to be very interesting to see how she is playing the role of Ruffalo and how the family dynamic gets evolve throughout the show.
3. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Release Date: 11th November 2022
The sequel of Black Panther coming later this year. Daniel Kaluuya declared he will never be a part of the movie. Ryan Coogler coming to direct the film also feature Letitia Weight, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and Martin Freeman.
4. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Release Date: December 2022
James Gunnis the writer and the director of the Disney+ special that is set to appear on the Disney streaming service this holiday. The film leads into GotG Vol. 3, and that set features the popular characters belonging to the series.
5. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Release Date: 17th February 2023
The third film deals with the Quantum Realm. Petron Reed will come back to direct, and it has set to feature Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas. The current report confirms that Kathryn Newton might join the cast.
6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Release Date: 5th May 2023
The third film in Marvel’s cosmic franchise arrives through some efforts. James Gunn is the writer and the director of the film and is rehired currently by Disney. On Twitter Gunn wrote he is very glad for the support.
7. The Marvels
Release Date: 28th July 2023
After Captain Marvel with a $569 box office collection, Ms. Marvel hit on Disney+ with a huge response. In phase 4 of the MCU, we are going to see The Marvels that continue the carve with the MCU directed by Nia DaCosta. In this film, we will see Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris.
8. Shang-Chi 2
Release Date: Unknown
Shang-Chi 2 already got a green signal in December 2021. Destin Daniel Cretton comes to direct and write the sequel. There is not much information about the second adaptation.
9. Blade
Release Date: Unknown
Blade film will feature Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali. The new reports on filming have been pushed back to October 2022. The blade is set to make a cameo appearance, that Ali’s voice does, at the end of Eternals, there are still some plans for the Daywalker.
10. Secret Invasion
Release Date: Unknown
For this shoe, the next Disney+ series is quite secretive. In the comics, Secret Invasion was about the Skrull invasion of Earth and Skrulls also have been posed like many humans even also superheroes. We will see a few previous daces like Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Mria Hill. The new face will be Emilia Clarke.
11. Ironheart
Release Date: Unknown
The new series will follow Riri Williams who is a genius teenager scientist who builds ger Iron Man costume. We will see Dominique Thorne in the lead role and make her first appearance as Williams in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
12. Armor Wars
Release Date: Unknown
Don Cheadle appears in his role as James Rhodes/War machine in this Disney show. The comedian Yessir Lester served as the head writer on the series. Now the series will show Tony Stark’s tech coming into the wrong hand, and there will be a fantastic fighting scene in the series.
13. Fantastic Four
Release Date: Unknown
At the time of the Investors Dat press conference, Kevin Feige also confirmed that the Fantastic Four just need to be headed to the MCU. Jon Watts has signed on as the director, unfortunately, stepped down since then.
14. Deadpool 3
Release Date: Unknown
While Disney purchased Fox, the entire Deadpool world become unfortunate. The film is under development. Rhett Reese and Paul Wenick, the director with Ryan Renolds working on the script. There are a lot of characters out in the world of Disney.
Cancelled Shows
1. Hit Monkey
This marvel show might be the strangest and most unique entry of the Hulu animated bunch. At the first, the character that is introduced makes an issue of Deadpool, which is already “wronged Japanese snow monkey, mentored by the ghostly of an American assassin.
2. Tigra & Dazzler
This show might be very exciting. The show contains two female superheroes, there is a car person and a mutant just teaming up for the greater good. These two raising superheroes and best friends battle for recognition among some powered people.
3. Howard the Duck
After Guardians of the Galaxi and Avengers: Endgame, Howard the Duck finally come into focus but it got cancelled. There is very little to be known about the series than it will be written and executive produced by Kevin Smith.
4. Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider might be Disney’s one of the new live-action Marvel shows. In this adaptation, we might see Luna play the same role on marvel’s Agent of SHIELD, which remains unclear now closely tied for the series.
5. The Offenders
Netflix’s Defenders having the title, the Offenders might expose many animated characters collaborating for a special outing. The new teaming-up just forced them like they have been tasked to protect the world and become parts of the universe.
