Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips on a six year deal until 2028. The player has been presented as a new signing for the Premier League champions, following Erling Haaland, Stefan Ortega and Julian Alvarez.
The transfer fee paid for the England international is £42 million with add-ons pushing the total amount higher. Phillips will be wearing the number 4 shirt at his new club, which was previously worn by the legendary Vincent Kompany.
