Eden Hazard had an injury-marred first season at Real Madrid. He has missed the majority of the campaign due to his multiple ankle injuries.
LaLiga has been suspended since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This unexpected break has given him enough time to be back from injury and play in the remaining games of the season.
After a long injury lay off, Hazard is back in training at Real Madrid. He has given his first interview after resuming training and expressed his happiness to be back with the guys.
Hazard told when he was asked how he felt to be back: “Very good, very good to be back on the pitch, to work with the boys. Now we just need to wait for the games but I’m very very happy.”
“After two months out, I need more fitness and more with the ball. So I just want to be ready for the next game.”
He further added: “Now are better. We can train more like we like to do it. The first week was a bit strange but now we can be back in the group and with the goalkeepers as well, so it’s more like we want. So now we just want to be altogether and try to work as a group.”
