On the back of their 2022 Serie A win, AC Milan are planning to invest in their squad over the summer. They have already agreed the signing of Divock Origi this summer. The contract has been agreed with the Liverpool forward, who will be joining the Scudetto winners as a free agent upon the expiry of his contract.

The official announcement for Origi’s move will be made in the coming days once all the formalities have been completed. In keeping with the attack, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is willing to accept a lower salary to stay on since he will be out for around half a year after needing surgery for his ACL tear.

Renato Sanches is one of the top targets for the Rossoneri this summer. The Lille midfielder will be the replacement for Franck Kessie, who has agreed to join Barcelona as a free agent. Talks have opened between the two clubs, and are progressing positively as of now.

Another Lille player, Sven Botman, is also in advanced negotiations to make the move to Milan. He was one of the targets for Newcastle United as well, but will be accepting a switch to AC Milan since they will be playing Champions League football next season.

AC Milan are also planning to offer Rafael Leao a new deal to extend his stay for the coming years. He is one of their most important players, and tying him down to a long-term contract would be a huge achievement for the club.
