MSI has finally shown the Titan GT77, just a few days after teasing the device. The Titan GT77, which was unveiled at Computex 2022, will be officially launched on June 7 at a separate event. Meanwhile, MSI has confirmed a few specifics, such that the Titan GT77 has already won the Best Choice Golden Award and a Red Dot 2022 design award at Computex 2022.
The Titan GT77 will also use Intel Alder Lake HX processors, according to MSI. MSI now offers the Core i5-12450HX through the Core i9-12950HX, with three Core i7 options in between. MSI is expected to match ASUS’ ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition, which debuted last week with a Core i9-12950HX processor. The Core i9-12950HX, for example, has 16 cores, and 24 threads, and can run at up to 55 watts.
It has previously been revealed that the Titan GT77 will include a CPU capable of 75 W and a dedicated GPU capable of 175 W
While MSI has not announced which GPU options will be available, we expect a few RTX 3080 Ti-powered SKUs with 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and NVIDIA’s GA103S GPU to be available. The Titan GT77 will also come with up to a UHD display, quad RAM, and SSD slots, according to MSI.
Samsung is also working on a CPU with the model number S5E8535 in addition to the flagship chip for the Galaxy S23. According to the product number, the chip could be utilized in Samsung’s low-cost handsets. Because these are just codenames, nothing can be said for certain at this time.
