Lucknow Super Giants are ready to face off Royal Challengers Bangalore (LSG vs RCB) in the Eliminator in Kolkata on May 24. LSG is at the third position while RCB is the fourth team. In the last head-to-head game, RCB won the match by 18 runs. The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM IST at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. AT first they have to win the Eliminator and then the second Qualifier to play the final on May 29. LSG is a new entrant in IPL and is led by KL Rahul.

RCB qualified for the playoffs after Mumbai defeated Delhi in their last league game. Delhi’s victory helped RCB to qualify for the playoffs even with a negative NRR. A loss in the Eliminator will stop RCB from reaching to the qualifiers. In 2021, they lost the Eliminator against KKR. They would try their level best to perform against LSG. The team is led by Faf du Plessis

Lucknow Super Giants finished at the third position in the points table. The side is likely to bring back players like Krunal Pandya and Ayush Badoni for the upcoming game. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore finished off their league stage campaign in fourth place with a victory over the Gujarat Titans and also were helped since Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals in the last game. RCB has a good batting and bowling department are relaxed because one of their best batters Virat Kohli returned to his form. Both the teams are super enthusiastic and at their best form, so it’s most probably going to be a thrilling match, with the teams having equal chances of winning.

Virat Kohli  from Royal Challengers Bangalore got out on a duck in the last head-to-head game against Lucknow Super Giants but had a very good form in the last game.

Faf du Plessis from Royal Challengers Bangalore smashed 96 runs in the last head-to-head match against Lucknow Super Giants and will try his best to replicate the performance. He’s also leading RCB.

Wanindu Hasaranga from Royal Challengers Bangalore scalped 24 wickets in this tournament so far and will be an essential pick for the tournamnent.

Deepak Hooda mustered 406 runs in 14 matches at an average of 31.23 and a strike rate of 133.55.

Glenn Maxwell picked 5 wickets in the last 4 matches and has mustered 268 runs in 11 matches at an average of 29.77.

Jason Holder in 12 matches, took 14 wickets at an average of 27.92, an economy of 9.42, and a strike rate of 17.7.

Mohsin Khan has taken 13 wickets at an average of 13.23, an economy of 5.93, and a strike rate of 13.3. In his rlast game against KKR, he picked 3 wickets.

Avesh Khan from Lucknow Super Giants picked 17 wickets and is an essential pick from the bowling department.

Harshal Patel from RCB picked 18 wickets in 13 matches and can get some necessary scalps in this game.
