Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has become the first Hindi film in 2022 to record the highest box office collection. It is a comedy horror, directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhusan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to the 2007 Bollywood film named Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which was directed by Priyadarshan, the film was a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. The movie stars Tabu, Kartik Aaryan, and Kiara Advani.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Highest first-day box office collection
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has become the first Hindi film in 2022 to record the highest box office collection. The movie earned $1.81 million on the first day of its release i.e. on 20th May 2022. The film’s collection has raised significantly on Saturday and the film has gained $2.3 million on the second day of its release and a total of $4.1 million has been made by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on its second day itself, which no other Hindi film has made till now in 2022.
Previously, this year the two biggest hit films i.e. KGF Chapter 2 earned $6.9 million and RRR earned $ 2.5 million but they were non-Hindi films. The film was released across 3800 screens and 3200 among those are in India alone.
Review
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 takes a leap far away, especially in terms of the treatment it gives to supernatural powers. Bhool Bhulaiyaa has shown us a balanced of both science and belief, but the new film has a little heavy side on the belief part. In the first sequel, we have not seen the ghost but in this new part, it has shown the ghost.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 not only entertains us but also presents the movie in a new and modern style. All the characters have played their roles very well, and the character development in the movie has also been presented very well.
