The LaLiga is starting to take steps to prepare for a mid-June return. Spanish Prime Minister has given permission to the clubs to return to individual training from 4th May.
It’s still not clear when LaLiga will resume but the signs are looking good. LaLiga president Javier Tebas also wants the league to be finished.
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has been a UNICEF ambassador for 6 years and has been collaborating with them for 13 years. They have created a campaign a month and a half ago when the coronavirus arrived in Spain to make donations and contribute to the health workers.
The Spanish World Cup-winning defender told AS while hosting Ramos UNICEF Day: “Everyone’s health is not going to be put at risk. I am looking forward to playing again, returning to compete, playing in LaLiga and the Champions League.”
“I am hungry to end the season with a title, but first we have to wait for the people who know about all of this to make the appropriate decisions.”
He further added: “We can’t think that everything has already been achieved yet, the seriousness of the matter is still with us. We have to comply with the guidelines in order to end this virus and give scientists the time to find a vaccine.”
