The OnePlus 10R‘s complete specs has leaked last month, hinting that it will not be an entirely new smartphone. The 10R that carries the moniker ‘pickle’ is expected to surface in the Q2 of 2022.
There is no word yet with respect to that from OnePlus, but new information by reliable tipster DigitalChatStation reveals that the device which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 device will be called the OnePlus Ace.
If that branding sounds familiar, it is because Oppo has launched two new smartphones with the Ace moniker already, the Reno Ace in 2019 and Ace2 in 2020. We did not see any other Ace Series smartphone from Oppo later on in the year. It appears that we are not likely to see the name be used by OnePlus.
As per DCS, the OnePlus Ace will sport a textured back cover and focus on fast charging and gaming. Looking at some images that were shared by a different tipster reveal that the OnePlus Ace will have a central punch-hole display, which is not surprising considering it will be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo3, which means that you will get a device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip and a 6.7″ FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone will have a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging.
