New iPhone SE confirmed to feature 4GB RAM, destroys every Android competition

The most affordable smartphone by Apple has been recently spotted on Geekbench and also has been confirmed to come with 4GB RAM by Macrumors. As per the leak, the third-generation iPhone SE now features 4GB of RAM, a healthy increase when compared to 3GB RAM on the predecessor.

This has been sourced from strings within the Xcode 13.3 Release Candidate after the launch event on Tuesday. A lot of things can benefit from this increase in RAM and most Apple devices that used to sport 3GB RAM are getting upgraded even the new iPad Mini that also comes with 4GB RAM.

Now, coming to the Geekbench leak, a benchmark called iPhone 14,6 has been spotted with a single-core score of 1695 and a multi-core score of 4021. For a smartphone, this type score is indeed flagship-level and is what we can expect from the Apple A15 Bionic, compared to average scores of iPhone 13 these numbers are pretty good.

If you compare this score with an Android flagship, the new iPhone SE 3 is far better, however, the main problem is its older iPhone 8 like design. It has almost got no design change compared to the previous iPhone SE but Apple promises 1.2x faster graphics performance and upgraded battery life up to 15 hours of video playback.

Thanks to the A15 Bionic chip, you get a lot of new functionalities on the new iPhone SE along with 5G support but with an old design. If you like compact smartphones without compromise on performance and features, this could be your next secondary or even primary smartphone.
