OnePlus has made a good name for itself in the wireless audio products market as well, be it the OnePlus Buds Pro, the OnePlus Buds Z 2, or the OnePlus Bullets neckband. However, it does not offer anything that can capitalize on the fast-growing budget-friendly TWS earphone markets in countries such as India. This may soon change as the brand is reportedly working on new affordable TWS earphones.
As per a report from 91Mobiles, popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks has revealed renders of the upcoming OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds.
As per the tipster, the OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds renders are based on the live images of final prototyping stage units, so it becomes hard to show the exact design via renders just yet as there could be a few changes in details on the final product when they officially launch.
The OnePlus Nord TWS features a totally different design profile in comparison to the OnePlus Buds Z lineup or the OnePlus Buds Pro. The earbud is shown to feature a broad stem and it features a hardware button coated in gold. The accommodating charging case has a boxy design and it looks similar to what Sony TWS earbuds arrive in. The charging case, as well as the earbuds, appear to follow the gold and black color scheme, however, the TWS earbuds will be available in more color options at launch.
As seen with the Nord Series smartphone that offers amazing hardware at a reasonable price, the Nord TWS earbuds are likely to offer premium features such as ANC and low latency for gaming with an affordable price tag.
Separately, the brand is also developing a new smartphone that has been codenamed ‘Oscar’. This smartphone is hinted to be part of the numbered series by the brand which is a sign that it could be the vanilla OnePlus 10 which is yet to be announced even though it has been over a month since the OnePlus 10 Pro launched.
