Arnaut Danjuma is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League, with his strong performances under Unai Emery this season. There is a release clause in the forward’s contract, which becomes valid in the summer.
And, it is set at €75 million, the same fee that Juventus paid for Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window. Unai Emery is highly appreciative of the player, and he has helped Villarreal keep up in the race for European football.
Arnaut Danjuma linked with English clubs
The 25-year-old previously featured for Bournemouth in England before making a €23.5 million move to Spain in the summer of 2021. In his debut season with the Yellow Submarine, he has scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
Playing as a hybrid striker, the Dutchman has also earned 5 caps for the national team, scoring two goals for them. He has four years remaining on his current deal, which would drive up the asking price even if clubs are not willing to pay his release clause.
The PSV academy graduate has attracted interest from Manchester United in particular. The Red Devils have been linked with his services recently, and could pull the trigger to sign Arnaut Danjuma especially given his display in the Champions League.
Manchester United would also need to sign a defensive midfielder in the summer to help them achieve stability in their team. They also need to find a long-term manager that can help rebuild the club with a strong foundation.
