This past summer, Manchester City bid €150 million for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. However, chairman Daniel Levy did not allow him to leave the club despite the massive bid for the star player.
Levy was able to persuade Kane to stay for at least another season, and Fabio Paratici would then appoint Antonio Conte as the manager of the club. The Italian has established a very strong bond with the forward, and could persuade him to stay for the coming years as well.
Harry Kane could sign a new contract with Spurs
The player will not be signing a contract in February or March, unless something crazy happens. He is currently back to performing at the top level, and is focused on matters on the pitch.
Antonio Conte has a strong winning mentality, and wants Tottenham Hotspur to become a top club. They are currently competing for Champions League football, and with their win over Manchester City, they have proven their quality under the Italian. Harry Kane scoring a double to defeat the reigning champions made it all that much better for the fans of the club.
Kane will decide about his future at the end of the season with his agent. Conte is trying to build the entire project around the England captain as the star player, and hence, he would be the main man in the team. The summer window would also bring new signings, which would strengthen the team and project further and give the striker a better reason to stay.
