It’s happening! The rumors regarding Google‘s development of the first Pixel foldable device are going to become a reality this year.
As per Ross Young from DSCC, the Search Engine giant has revived its foldable smartphone project. Now, the company is planning to begin its production for the Pixel Fold’s display in the third quarter of this year.
The source has also added that the device is likely to launch in markets towards the end of 2022 in Q4. Apart from this, there are no other details with respect to the upcoming handset.
If we are to go by previous reports, the Google Pixel Fold is likely to feature an LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. On the rear, the device will arrive with a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 sensor paired with a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor for an ultrawide angle lens and two 8MP Sony IMX355 sensors as well. Other features include Android 12L OS.
Since this is an unconfirmed report, take it with a grain of salt. We will keep you updated as and when we get more details about the Google Pixel Fold.
