Paris Saint-Germain look resigned to losing Kylian Mbappe in the summer. The player’s contract runs out in the summer, and he is the top target for Real Madrid.
The player has confessed on multiple occasions that he dreams of playing for Real Madrid. And in June, he might finally get his chance to join them as a free agent. Although he has denied talks with Los Blancos just yet, the Spanish capital seems like the most obvious destination for him.
How PSG are hoping to deal with the departure of Kylian Mbappe
With the Frenchman likely to leave in the summer, PSG are looking at Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland as the priority to replace him. The Norwegian has been in top form ever since joining the Black and Yellow club, and is one of the top strikers in the world.
L’Equipe report that PSG sporting director Leonardo and Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, have already opened talks about a potential move in the summer. The striker is rumoured to have a release clause worth €75-90 million. The extra costs for agent fees and salary would make the deal much more expensive.
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, who will also be a free agent in the summer, is a target for PSG as well. Lucas Paqueta of Lyon is also another player that Leonardo is fond of, and would like to bring to the French capital. The Brazilian would cost PSG around €80 million, since he has multiple years left on his deal and is a key player for Lyon.
