Chorus, Deep Silver’s sci-fi action game, has officially launched, along with an action-packed trailer that will make any science-fiction fan squeal. Prepare yourself for a modern space-shooter that hits all the right notes. Chorus follows Nara’s journey, who was once a warrior for the Circle but is now being hunted by them. She is accompanied by her sentient starfighter, Forsaken, as they work together to eliminate the Circle’s leader, the Great Prophet.
Expect zero-g combat and mind-bending abilities to take down enemies by mastering your ship’s mechanics, which include extrasensory perception, teleportation, telekinesis, and more. According to the description, players will be able to “chain” these powers together to create the ultimate weapon, and who wouldn’t want to do that? Weapons and combat upgrades will also be available, providing a plethora of ways to gain an advantage in battle.
The game takes place in a variety of unique environments that players must navigate. Space stations and ancient temples are among the locations mentioned, as are “strange planes of existence beyond our own.” This game has everything. Other features to look forward to including the ability to build resistance forces to aid in the fight against the Circle, as well as the ability to take down hordes of enemy starfighters and titanic battleships, and just good ol’ classic space shooter action. As a bonus, it’s all available in 4K resolution.
Here is the official description of Chorus, as provided by its official Steam page:
Take control of Nara on a quest to destroy the dark cult that created her. Unlock devastating weapons & mind-bending abilities in an evolution of the space-combat shooter. Along with Forsaken, her sentient starfighter, explore ancient temples, engage in zero-g combat & venture beyond waking reality.
Chorus is now available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Windows.
