Samsung launches new Chromebook 4 & Chromebook 4+ with Intel Celeron N4000 processor, Google Assistant and USB Type-C port
Chromebooks these days have made an impact on the laptop market and various manufacturers like HP, Acer, Asus are providing cheaper Chromebooks for a wider audience. It seems the South Korean giant is also joining the party with its Chromebook 4 series.

Design & Display
The Samsung Chromebook 4 line offers a sleek and beautiful design, providing a seamless aesthetic and functional experience. The Chromebook 4 comes with an 11.6-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) display and weighs 1.18kg, while the Chromebook 4+ offers a larger 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080 pixels) display while remaining equally thin and weighing just 1.7kg.
Though being lightweight and sleek, these notebooks meet eight military-grade standards, measuring resistance to extreme temperature, dust, and other shocks. The Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ also feature extended battery life, lasting 12.5 and 10.5 hours, respectively.
Hardware Specifications
Both the Samsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ is powered by the Intel Celeron N4000 processor with Intel UHD Graphics 600 integrated graphics. It is coupled with 4GB and 6GB of LPDRR4 RAM and you get 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage options.
The Chromebook 4 line is also equipped with the latest standard in wireless connectivity with Gigabit Wi-Fi capabilities allowing you to stream high-definition content, load webpages, and transfer gigabytes of data in a matter of seconds.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, USB Type-A (v3.0) port, microSD multimedia card reader, along with a single headphone/ mic combo jack.
For the first time in this range, you get a USB-C port functionality built-in not just for power, but for high-speed data transfer, at a rate of up to 5 Gbps, you can upload your presentation files in a snap. Also, you can connect your Chromebook 4 or 4+ to a 4k monitor, or you can switch to Ultra-HD for that presentation, TV show, or game.
These laptops feature stereo speakers onboard (two 1.5W speakers), along with a 720p HD webcam and island-style keyboard.

Pricing & Availability
Both of the Samsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ come in Platinum Titan colour options, and the Samsung Chromebook 4 has been priced at $229.99 (around Rs.16,400), while the Samsung Chromebook 4+ will be available at $299.99 (around Rs.21,400).
The new Chromebook 4 series is already available to buy in the US via Best Buy and Samsung.com, no words regarding availability in other markets have been disclosed by Samsung.
