Players are eligible to negotiate with foreign clubs once their contract enters its final six months. Here is the line-up of players out of a contract in June 2022.
GK: Andre Onana
The Ajax keeper has made it clear that he wants to move on from the Eredivisie champions. Inter Milan seems to be the most probable destination for the shot-stopper.
CB: Niklas Sule
Sule’s time at Bayern Munich has been quite inconsistent. The German has also had to deal with a number of injuries while in Bavaria and it remains to be seen whether Bayern will end up extending his contract beyond the summer.
CB: Matthias Ginter
The Borussia Monchengladbach defender is out of a contract in the summer and is on the list of a number of top clubs. Bayern Munich and Barcelona are two of the teams lining up for the 27-year-old.
CB: Antonio Rudiger
Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger completes the German centre-back trio out of a contract next summer. The two are differing on the financial front and it seems likely that Rudiger will exit the club in June.
RM: Angel Di Maria
After struggling at Manchester United, Di Maria has revived his career at Paris Saint-Germain. His deal runs out in the summer, and he has been a great player for almost every club in his career.
CM: Paul Pogba
Pogba’s Manchester United career seems to be heading towards an exit for good. The France international will be out of a contract in the summer and a move to Real Madrid looks on the horizon for him.
CM: Franck Kessie
The AC Milan midfielder has failed to reach an agreement with the board in terms of his salary. And as a result, he could end up leaving the club to find a better financial package and challenge in Europe.
LM: Lorenzo Insigne
The Napoli captain has not agreed a new deal yet, with his deal running out in the summer. Chelsea and Tottenham are expected to battle it out for his signature as a free agent.
SS: Paulo Dybala
Dybala is yet to reach an agreement with Juventus, and the Argentinian is surprisingly going under the radar of talents out of a contract in June. It is yet unclear what the situation is, but Juventus are confident about reaching an agreement.
ST: Andrea Belotti
The Italy international has already stated that he wishes to leave Torino next summer. He has scored over a century of goals in Serie A, and has earned 42 caps for the Azzurri.
ST: Kylian Mbappe
After the events of the summer, it seems almost certain that Mbappe will be at the Santiago Bernabeu in June. His deal expires in the summer and Madrid are waiting in the wings to recruit him after years of speculation.
