According to a recent report presented by Greymon55, AMD’s Ryzen CPUs based on the new Zen 3 stacked chiplet design with V-Cache might be entering into mass production next month. The leaker also mentions that the Ryzen processors with B2 stepping will be shipped and available in the retail segment by the end of 2021.
The chip manufacturer has officially confirmed that its Ryzen CPUs based on the Zen 3 architecture with 3D V-Cache are heading to the AM4 platform in Q1 2022. and if the tweet is to be believed then AMD might just begin mass production of these chips next month meaning that we will probably hear another official announcement related to the CPUs in the CES 2022.
This will give AMD to launch the CPUs by February 2022 giving them a good 9-10 month time on shelves before Zen 4 enters the market. Another news is the team red will reportedly start shipping its Zen 3 B2 stepping CPUs by the end of December.
Its been officially confirmed that the B2 stepping will not bring any type of architectural change to the AMD’s CPUs however, it will be a new stepping that will result in better overall stability & clock output versus what we currently have in the market.
