AMD’s Ryzen 6000 Rembrandt APUs with RDNA 2 GPUs starts appearing on benchmark

It seems this month all benchmarking platforms will be busy with the appearances of processors from both AMD and Intel. Intel will be launching its Alder Lake lineup which is expected to be a game-changer for the silicon giant, on the other hand, we have AMD whose Ryzen 6000 processors will soon be hitting the market to go head-to-head with Intel’s next-generation.

In recent news, it seems that AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 6000 Rembrandt APUs with RDNA 2 GPUs have already started to pop up in benchmarks & the most recent entry shows impressive performance against Intel & NVIDIA’s counterparts.

AMD Ryzen 6000 series is known as the Rembrandt family and they will be utilizing Zen 3+ core structure in conjunction with the newer RDNA 2, or Navi 2, graphics. According to sources, the newer chips which will come out of AMD will be keeping the same amount of cores as the previous Cezanne aka the Ryzen 5000 series processors albeit except for an improvement in clock speed thanks to an optimized process node.

AMD’s Rembrandt family is believed to be imperative to the company’s market since these APUs will mark the beginning of the company’s plan to “leverage Navi 2 (RDNA 2) graphics as well as support for DDR5 memory.”

According to reports from the latest UserBenchmark appearance of the AMD Zen 3+ APU, it comes with a base clock of 3.1GHz and is capable of being boosted to as high as 3.9GHz. But beware that what we are seeing is an ES version or an Engineering Sample.
