Aurelien Tchouameni was valued at €7 million on Transfermarkt in December 2019. He is now valued at €55 million, and started for France as they won the UEFA Nations League. The midfielder won his first major honour with the national team at the age of 21, after impressing under Niko Kovac.

Tchouameni featured for French club Bordeaux before, and made the move to Monaco in the winter transfer window of 19/20.

While he was not in the first 11 under previous manager Roberto Moreno, he has become a vital player under Niko Kovac. Didier Dechamps called up the player for the first time in August and made his debut as France played Bosnia and Herzegovina. The midfielder featured for the full 90 minutes in the game.

Due to his impactful performances, Tchouameni was included in the French squad for the Nations League final as well. The midfielder featured for 15 minutes in the semi final as France defeated Belgium, and he started the game against Spain as they won the match and lifted the trophy.

His rise in status and value has been remarkable and has the potential to be a top midfielder in the years to come.

Tchouameni has started to attract interest from several top clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid. However, Monaco are adamant about not selling him for less than €60 million no matter which club comes calling.
