Poco released the M3 Pro 5G a few months ago as a low-cost alternative with 5G network compatibility for the general public. Poco has recently begun working on its successor, the Poco M4 Pro 5G. The gadget has been certified by a number of mobile rules, indicating that the business is planning to release it shortly.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G’s certification details have been shared by tipster Kacper Skrzypek on Twitter. Separately, tipster Abhishek Yadav has also shared the details of an upcoming Poco smartphone (likely Poco M4 Pro 5) in India.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is said to have cleared its certifications from three Chinese regulatory including TENAA, EEC, and 3C. The device has been certified with the 21091116AC model number from these platforms. The handset has also cleared its certification from IMEI with the 21091116AG model number. This certification confirms an upcoming India launch.
According to the certification sites, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will come with a 33W charger. According to Kacper Skrzypek, the phone will be powered by a chipset from MediaTek. So probably it could be one from the Dimensity lineup of chipsets from the company. Although this can be a little disappointing to some fans.
Apart from the charger and processor manufacturer for the Poco M4 Pro 5G, nothing much has been confirmed yet. However, sources have claimed that the phone may come with an upgraded camera module. Apart from that, the phone is expected to ship with a big 5000mAh battery and RAM and ROM configuration of 4GB paired with 64GB storage and 6GB paired with 128GB onboard storage.
The phone is expected to ship with MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11 instead of the latest Android 12. But, no details regarding any possible launch date is known till the moment.
