iQOO launched the iQOO Z5 5G earlier today, the device is a 5G-enabled smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. It will come in three storage variants with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The dual-SIM nano iQOO Z5 runs Origin OS 1.0 based on Android 11 OS. It features a 6.67″ Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and also has a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
The device has the Snapdragon 778G SoC chipset under the hood with an Adreno 642L GPU paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The iQOO Z5 has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens, it has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. The device also has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.45 aperture lens.
The iQOO Z5 5G comes with 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage, coming to the connectivity options it supports 5G, tri-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, USB OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It has a gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and compass. It also has BEIDOU, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS. The iQOO Z5 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has Face Wake facial recognition.
iQOO has backed it all up with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support. The iQOO Z5 5G retails for 21,600 INR for the 8GB+128GB variant, the 8GB+256GB variant retails for 23,900 INR, and the 12GB+256GB variant retails for 26,200 INR.
The smartphone is available with Blue Origin, Dreamspace, and Twilight Morning color variants. It goes on sale from the 28th of September via iQOO’s official site, JD.com, and Tmall in China. Pre-orders are being accepted for now.
