Along with the big iPhone 13 series launch, Apple has also announced changes/improvements to its existing services including its new Apple Fitness+. Yes, the Cupertino giant wants to make its Fitness program even better and attract more and more consumers to stay fit while getting into the Apple services program.
The launch of Fitness+ last year was a tactical move by Apple to increase its Software as a Service approach using its own hardware. Now, it plans to make its better always to lure consumers to get subscriptions to Fitness+ while also promoting new & exciting ways to stay fit.
One of the biggest announcements to Fitness+ is that it will now be coming to 15 new countries, including Brazil, France, Mexico, and Russia, sadly no India still. Also, these workouts will be getting subtitles in six languages making it easier for people to understand.
There are two new workout modes that will make you feel excited about – one being the Pilates workout and the other being guided motivation, this joins the Apple Fitness+ program’s ever-growing library.
Also, Apple has added new workouts to help you get ready for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding.
Another important feature added to Apple Fitness+ has to be the new Group Workouts, as the name suggests, you can now do your workouts with your group of friends or people with whom you want to. Incredibly, you can train and still get attached to a group of up to 32 people just via an iMessage or FaceTime call.
Obviously, this will be fun working out with a group of friends and completing or achieving targets that easily gets tracked via Apple Watch. You will see your metrics and rings, and also see how your friends are doing on the “burn bar” competition feature and when they close their rings.
The first-time users will get a free one-month trial to Fitness+ and Apple is also offering a three-month trial with every Apple Watch purchase and the service comes included in the Apple One Premiere bundle.
The price of the subscription still remains $9.99/month in the U.S. while both Group Workouts and support for new countries will arrive “later this fall,” so which improvement you loved the most? Tell us in the comments down below…😉
