So finally Apple event for 2021 is done and we are here with some new offerings from the tech giant. Apple has officially announced the iPhone 13 series and it seems to have a massive upgrade over the last generation of iPhones. The new iPhone series has four models namely iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini
Both the phones come with an exclusive tougher ceramic shield front glass that makes both the smartphones more durable than their predecessors. This time the rear camera design in both the devices has been revised with a diagonal placement of the rear camera lenses. Both of them will be available in five new colour options – Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight and Red.
So finally this time the rumors seem to be accurate as the company has now shrunk the front notch by 20% from its predecessors. Now the antennas of iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini are made with up-cycled plastic bottles and likewise, iPhone 13 series is made keeping in mind the environment. The new architecture allows more room for new technology and bigger battery.
Display
The iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Mini comes with a 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display. This display has 1200 nits max HDR brightness and 800 nits which are 28% higher max outdoor brightness than the previous iPhone. As always it also comes with a haptic touch and true tone that allows the screen to adjust the tone of the display with the surroundings. Apple-custom OLED and P3 wide colours are also available.
Performance

Cameras
Coming to the camera, this time iPhone 13 series has yet again set another benchmark for mobile photography and videography as well. This time it has more advanced features including a 12MP Wide and a 12MP Ultra-Wide sensor. These two cameras will allow you to click mesmerizing photos. Other features for photography include sensor-shift OIS and night mode that clicks stunning and vivid photos in low lights.
Videography with iPhone 13 series has moved a step further with cinematic mode. This mode allows the iPhone to use the rack focus mode. This allows the iPhone to track an object or person in the frame and make it in and out of focus with a tap of a finger. This feature uses advanced machine learning and it can also be done while shooting a video and even after shooting it.

Connectivity
Both the devices come with 5G connectivity. By the end of this year, Apple promises to double its 5G supports to over 200 carriers in 60 countries and regions.
Battery Life
This time due to a revised internal architecture the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini have bigger battery life. As promised by the company the iPhone 13 Mini will get around 1.5 hours of longer battery life than the iPhone12 Mini, while, the iPhone 13 will get around 2.5 hours of longer battery life than the iPhone 12.
Privacy
Intelligent tracking prevention now prevents trackers from profiling users by using their IP address, all thanks to iOS 15. Mail privacy protection on the other hand hides the IP address of the users and prevents senders from learning their mail activities.
New MagSafe wallet now supports Find My by which users can locate the last known location of the detachment of the wallet from the phone.
