Redmi launched the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro in India today alongside the Redmi 10 Prime smartphones. The new Truly wireless stereo earbuds are a rebadged version of the Redmi AirDots 3 that Xioami launched in China in February.
The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro comes with dual drivers and features an IPX4 rated build for the earbuds for splash and sweat resistance. The TWS earbuds also come with support for Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec. Other key highlights of the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro include a quick pairing feature for MIUI phones, a minimum latency rate of 86ms, and up to 30 hours of battery life.
Coming to the detailed specs of the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro, they come with dual dynamic drivers along with a balanced armature and are powered by a Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC. In terms of connectivity, the buds feature Bluetooth v5.2 along with aptX Adaptive codec support to deliver low latency and improved audio output.
The TWS earbuds have touch controls for voice calls, controlling music playback, and enabling voice assistants. Further, the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro has InfraRed sensors to enable in-ear detection.
For users with Xiaomi’s MIUI skin, the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro offers quick pairing that brings a pop-up window on the screen by opening the lid of the charging case, similar to how the AirPods pair with iOS devices.
The earpieces of the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro comes with a 43mAh battery for each bud which can deliver up to 7 hours of playback time on a full charge. The charging case has a 600mAh battery that delivers 30 hours of total playback time. The case has a USB Type-C port for charging.
The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro has been priced at 2,999 INR although the MRP will be 5,999 INR. The buds come in Blue, Pink, and White colors and will be available for purchase via Amazon.com, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retailers starting from 12 PM noon on September 9th.
