Yesterday, Intel has made its new high-performance graphics brand ARC official and has kept the enthusiasts talking about it with its unique special event featuring 1000 drones with lights. Much like what we saw on a larger scale with drones at the Olympics, Intel was behind it too, yesterday, Intel demonstrated the same thing.
These drones made various shapes, including logos and products such as laptops and yes being the launch of a GPU brand, it also took the shape of a dual-fan discrete desktop graphics card:
As Videocardz points out, this design is almost the same as the leaked photo of the DG2-512EU engineering sample that was previously shown by Moore’s Law is Dead. Both of them comes with the same blower design and both of the fans have 9 blades as in the leak.
The first from the Intel Arc “Alchemist” series will be based out of Intel’s highly anticipated DG2 GPU family featuring the Xe-HPG microarchitecture. The flagship gaming GPU from this series is said to feature 512 Execution Units and 16GB of GDDR6 memory.
