Sergio Ramos has already joined PSG as a free agent following his departure from Real Madrid, and the French club are also expected to confirm the signing of Lionel Messi in the upcoming days.
There were rumours that PSG had booked the Eiffel Tower for the 10th of August to present Lionel Messi. However, patience is key right now since the final agreement is yet to be reached between Messi and PSG. He is still in Barcelona and will board a flight to the French capital once a total agreement has been reached between Messi’s entourage and the French club.Â
Both Clasico clubs have lost their captains to PSG, with Messi and Ramos both expected to be PSG players by the end of the transfer window at the end of the season at the latest. Both players will have joined the club as free agents once the transfer of Messi is confirmed.
However, seeing both players in the same team will be a bizarre dream for fans of Barcelona and Real Madrid. The two developed a heated rivalry during their time in Spain, and were involved in several confrontations during Clasicos, often turning violent due to the temper of Ramos. An interesting fact to see will be who gets to take penalties for the club, since both of them were penalty takers for their former clubs.
But, we must remember that both the players are loyal and can surely set aside their differences to achieve a common goal since they will wear the shirt of the same club for at least two seasons together.
