We all are aware of Carl Pei’s unique thinking and also the moto behind “Nothing”. Yesterday, Nothing initiated its journey with the launch of Ear (1) true wireless earphone in multiple regions, including India. To fulfil the target, the Nothing Team crafted the Ear (1) very carefully. Before explaining why Ear (1) is different from other TWS, look at all the specs.

Why Ear (1) is different from other TWS?
Obviously, multiple points are there that clearly distinguish Ear (1) from other truly wireless earphones available in the market at present. You already mark a few of those, I think, from the specks list. If not, here are all the points –
👉🏽 Design
Before checking out the specs, consumers always looked at the design at least once. So, it should be the first and one of the best impressions, and unique too. On top of that, the fit relies on it. The Noise team checks all these facts.
The Ear (1) buds are are transparent, and it’s the first one in the market. You can see all the hardware from the outside. Not only the buds, but the charging case is transparent too.
👉🏽 Noise Cancellation | Transparency Mode Customizability
In general, the audio devices coming with noise cancellation and/or transparency mode have options to turn the feature(s) off or no options for that. But in Ear (1), you, as a consumer, can choose either you need noise cancellation or transparency mode or want to turn off both. Additionally, there are options to set the noise cancellation and transparency mode at light or maximum. So, that’s the coolest thing to me.
Point to note; the Light and Maximum noise cancellation or transparency mode option settings are accessible through the Ear(1) application which is still in its early stage.
👉🏽 Find my Earbud
You probably know this feature is available in Samsung Galaxy Buds and Apple’s AirPods, among the known and popular products. But the Ear (1) is one of the most pocket-friendly earbuds having the Find My Earbuds feature.
👉🏽 Wireless Charging Compatability
As per our knowledge, pTron Bassbuds Vista is the one offering wireless charging at the lowest cost, below INR1,499. But if you combine it with the other specs, the Nothing Ear (1) is the best and affordable offering. You hardly get a TWS at INR 5,999 with both the Type-C charging and all Qi charger compatibility.
👉🏽 Customizable Gestures
The basic touch functionalities like track management, switch between noise cancellation mode and transparency mode or turn them off, volume adjustments are already there. But through the Ear (1) application, these are customizable.
I know I need to mention the audio quality and microphone specialities, the main points of a TWS. But I didn’t experience any of these two. So, it’s better to say Nothing before taking the feel.
The sale will start on 17th August at 12:00 PM in India via Flipkart. So, set the reminder for that. I already mentioned the price. It’s INR 5,999.
