Her Message, in Brief

Jiyoon admitted she feels a little shy and excited about finally saying the word “marriage” about her own life. She described her partner as a warm-hearted person, even more wonderful than herself.

She also said she will keep working hard as a writer and hopes to share the love she has received with others. Then came a sweet seasonal detail. Every year she used to play Christmas carols to get into the holiday mood, but this year she says she may not need them.

She closed by asking fans to look upon the couple warmly and thanked them, as always.

From Idol Stage to Author’s Desk

4Minute debuted in 2009 and became one of the more recognizable girl groups of its era before disbanding in 2016. Since then, Jiyoon has shifted toward writing, and her message shows she plans to keep that path going after marriage.

Many fans have followed idols for more than a decade, so milestone news like this feels personal. It is a reminder that life after the spotlight can be just as fulfilling.

What Happens Next?

Jiyoon hasn’t shared a wedding date, venue or details about her partner. If more information comes out, expect it to arrive through her own social media first. Until then, fans are sending congratulations.
