Opening days make or break big films, and Ramayana: Part One is walking into a tricky window. Pinkvilla’s trade tracker has now issued its final forecast, and it’s a little lower than the earlier buzz suggested. Here’s the quick breakdown.
Ramayana : First-Day Forecast Table
| Release Date | Film | Low-End | High-End | Pinpoint |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 Nov 2026 | Ramayana: Part One (Hindi) | Rs 52 cr | Rs 60 cr | Rs 56 cr |
| 27 Nov 2026 | Yeh Prem Mol Liya | Rs 4 cr | Rs 7 cr | Rs 5.5 cr |
| 27 Nov 2026 | Gunmaaster G9 | Rs 3 cr | Rs 6 cr | Rs 5 cr |
All figures are nett estimates and exclude 3D charges, which would add roughly 10%.
Why Ramayana Is Slightly Short?
According to Pinkvilla’s report, the film is coming in a bit short of expectations. Two reasons stand out:
- North India: the pre-Diwali period limits business.
- South India: dubbed versions appear to be eating into the Hindi version’s business in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
So the final forecast was revised downward. Pinkvilla’s advance booking update has the film at about Rs 30 crore in presales.

Two New Entrants for 27 November
Yeh Prem Mol Liya: Sooraj Barjatya’s return is the big talking point. His films are known more for staying power than explosive openings, and lead Ayushmann Khurrana’s recent non-franchise films opened at around Rs 3-4 crore. Expect a low start, with possible upside from the director’s track record.
Gunmaaster G9: Following Awaraapan 2’s success, there are some expectations. But this film lacks that film’s IP value. Music and the trailer will be decisive.
