The Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), an FMCG conglomerate, has announced the 2026 edition of its Pulse Candy Day campaign. This year’s initiative, unveiled on National Candy Day, features a technology-driven augmented reality (AR) game controlled by body motion.

The campaign, an annual observance for the brand, introduces a space-themed game accessible via a dedicated microsite, www.pulsecandyday.com (http://www.pulsecandyday.com). Players interact with the game using hand and body movements, tracked by their smartphone camera.

DS Group: Campaign Details and Technology Integration

The game is designed to target Gen Z, young adults, and mobile-first consumers(https://technosports.co.in/), running from November 3rd to 10th. It presents a 60-second interstellar challenge where users collect Pulse candies while navigating obstacles such as decoy candies and asteroids.

The core technology relies on camera-based motion and gesture tracking, which responds to the user’s real-time physical movements. The experience is delivered directly through mobile browsers, eliminating the need for additional hardware like headsets or controllers.

Arvind Kumar, Senior General Manager, Marketing, Confectionery, DS Group, commented on the campaign’s direction. He stated that innovation is central to the Pulse Candy Day initiative, emphasizing the goal to provide an accessible, technology-driven experience for consumers.

The campaign aims to enhance engagement with audiences seeking interactive and shareable digital experiences. This approach underscores the brand’s strategy to connect with consumers through technological applications. The broader operations of the Dharampal Satyapal Group (https://www.dsgroup.com/) span across various sectors within the FMCG landscape.
