Ncore Games Speaks About The Future of FAU-G Team Deathmatch

A few months back, FAU-G was released for the Indian audience. This made-in-India action game gets a team deathmatch mode or TDM.

For the TDM, FAU-G features a new map named Bazaar which will give you the feel of Indian structures. Ganesh Hande, the Co-founder and COO of nCore Games, have said, “We chose to start with a fictional city in Rajasthan known as Udaighat. The centre of the map is a typical bazaar you get to see in many parts of middle India. We drew inspirations from Jaisalmer Fort and several markets in Udaipur and Jaipur.”

“Our aim was to present a map which most of our audience could relate to and at the same time use our platform to create awareness around Covid-19 safe behaviour around masking and getting vaccinated,” he added.

We can say this is now the early days for nCore and the team has its hands covered with gameplay balance, bugs, and polish. The team wants to let its TDM map play a part in setting the story of what seems to be an FAU-G universe of sorts since it has moved from Galwan single-player level to a multiplayer map.

Hande has said, “There is a narrative set around the Bazaar; we do have a storyline which describes why FAU-G soldiers are present in what seems like an evacuated market. We will have to wait until more characters are introduced into the FAU-G universe, which will also answer who FAU-Gs are fighting against. It’s still in the works, and we are working out on ways to build the lore around the universe and present it to our players soon.”

He added, “That depends if we want to make FAU-G operators or weapons (guns) as the central element to player growth in the game. We are exploring the design possibilities of having unique operator skills/ perks. We want the meta to gel well with the core loop. We will be sharing more info on this soon. But the possibility is definitely open.”

The FAU-G single-player release gained 8 million downloads and we can hope for more downloads with this TDM.
