TCL, one of the world’s largest Smart TV maker is now all geared up to launch its new flagship Mini LED TV in India. It will be holding a C Series XR Online Launch Event at 12 PM tomorrow and this clearly suggests the company will launch the TCL C825 mini-LED TV in India.
Also, it is supposed to launch the TCL C725 QLED TV as well and having teased the Smart TVs on Amazon India means it will be sold online via Amazon.
TCL C825 4K MINI LED TV
This Smart TV uses TCL’s second-generation mini-LED technology and TCL said back at the launch of this TV at CES 2021, “the C825 adopts straight down backlight mode reducing the grain size of traditional LED to 100 ~200 μm.”
So you expect more LEDs to power the backlight source and a full-array local dimming, so you can expect better brightness and contrast from the TV although its panel still remains QLED. Here are all the specs:

TCL C725 QLED TV
The C725 doesn’t have mini-LED backlighting but still features the same Quantum Dot Technology that should help enhance the colours and overall picture quality of the TV. At CES 2021, TCL said, “With nearly 100% ultra-high colour gamut (DCI-P3), the Quantum Dot Display Technology in the C725 will deliver even more vibrant and diverse colours without the limitations of lower colour volume or shorter lifespans found in other colour technologies”.
