What’s the Story?
Aasha is a widowed mother living with her younger daughter, Anagha, while their new home is still being built. Haunted by trauma and severe insomnia, she has grown paranoid, controlling and quick to pick fights.
After a minor road accident, she clashes with a volatile truck driver, Jeemon. When Anagha later meets with an accident, Aasha becomes convinced he’s responsible. Desperate and afraid, she abducts him and locks him inside her unfinished house.
Then things spiral. She tries to cover her tracks, the situation turns deadly, and she later learns Jeemon had nothing to do with her daughter’s accident. The film explores how she faces the consequences of her own stubborn choices.
Why It’s Worth Your Time?
This isn’t a typical whodunit. It’s a character-driven thriller about how fear and grief can push a person into terrible decisions. With veteran actress Urvashi at the centre, supported by Joju George and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the performances are the main draw. The supporting cast also includes Lakshmi Menon, Vijayaraghavan and Joy Mathew.
The film is written by Joju George, Ramesh Girija and Safar Sanal, produced by Vinayaka Ajith, and shot by Madhu Neelakandan, with editing by Shan Mohammed.
