All you need to know about the Euro 2020 knockouts

While teams like Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands have shown absolute dominance in the group stages some bigger teams failed to even qualify for the Euro 2020 Round of 16. These include national teams of Russia and Turkey. France and Germany also have been part of some great performances in the so-called Group of Death.

Spain was among the teams which were mostly lackluster throughout the Euro 2020 group stage failing to impress much. Denmark made it into the knockouts despite losing Erikson early on in the campaign. Portugal, Sweden, and Croatia all have shown potential and we are hoping to see amazing knockout stage matches. England has on the other hand failed to find momentum and it will probably be the right time to play Jadon Sancho!

Among other teams which have qualified for the knockout stages are Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria, Finland, Switzerland and Wales. There have been amazing performances individually as well by players like Manuel Locatelli (Italy), Denzel Dumfries (Netherlands), Patrik Schick (Czech Republic), Robin Gosens (Germany) and Emil Forsberg (Sweden). Let’s hope to see these talents shine even more as their nation moves ahead in the competition!
