Real Madrid to tighten up squad under Carlo Ancelotti’s management

With the upcoming new season, Real Madrid will be under new management with Carlo Ancelotti’s return to Santiago Bernabéu.

Carlo Ancelotti also has brought in a reputed fitness coach and also a former part of Real Madrid’s three consecutive Champions League-winning team known as Sergeant Antonio Pintus who’s most famous statement is “Did you think we were done already?”

The Real Madrid squad currently posses of 33 players out of which 7 players are set to leave. The most notable departure being club captain Sergio Ramos. With him being gone his leadership and determination will be missed across the team.

This season Carlo Ancelotti has heavy expectations from the Belgian captain Eden Hazard, other than that Carlo Ancelotti also is keen on making Gareth Bale and Isco an integral part of Real Madrid’s core players.

The defense department will certainly be strengthened with the arrival of David Alaba. Other than him Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard will also return from their loans and will be keen on contributing to Real Madrid this season.

Players likely to leave on permanent moves include Takefusa Kubo, Brahim Diaz, Borya Moyoral and Reiner Jesus.

Real Madrid’s pre-season training starts from July 5th next month while their season kick off will be on August 13th.
