Primebook Launches Third-Generation Laptops with Enhanced PrimeOS and MediaTek Genio 720

Primebook, an Indian technology firm specializing in personal computing solutions powered by its proprietary PrimeOS, is set to introduce its third-generation laptop lineup. The series will commence with the launch of the Primebook 3 Max around October 1st, with the Primebook 3 Pro slated for a later release. The Primebook 3 series transitions to the MediaTek Genio 720 processor, an octa-core unit (2 × A78 @ 2.6GHz + 6 × A55 @ 2.0GHz) that includes an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for on-device AI task handling. This processor is complemented by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, an upgrade from the LPDDR4X memory used in the preceding generation. PrimeSecurity scans for potentially malicious or unauthorized applications, providing warnings and the ability to manage background processes.
