Belgium paid their tribute to Danish Footballer and Inter Milan playmaker Christian Eriksen in their match against Denmark. Christian Eriksen was also the most vital player in Denmark’s campaign in the Euros it’ll be worth watching how would they perform without him.
Christian Eriksen who suffered from a cardiac arrest in Denmark’s opener in the Euro 2021 against Finland is now in stable condition and footballers across the globe are wish him good health and recovery.
In Belgium’s tribute to Christian Eriksen, they kicked out the ball in the 10th minute and then gave a standing ovation for a minute as tribute to Christian Eriksen.
Other than that Inter Milan teammate Romelu Lukaku ran towards the camera after scoring a goal and said “Chris, I love you” to support his teammate.
According to Eriksen’s doctors he should be happy to be alive after collapsing on the pitch last week. One of Eriksen’s doctor stated “I don’t know whether he’ll ever play football again. Without putting it too bluntly, he died today, albeit for a few minutes, but he did die and would the medical professional allow him to die again? The answer is no.”
“After Christian has been through different heart examinations it has been decided that he should have an ICD (heart starter). This device is necessary after a cardiac attack due to rhythm disturbances.”
Looking at the statements from the medical professionals treating Christian Eriksen is it very unlikely to see him play again. However, one never knows tomorrow might bring. We all wish Christian Eriksen a speedy and happy recovery.
