‘Is It Cake? Halloween’ Season 2 Is Coming — Here’s Everything You Need to Know Before It Drops

Netflix has confirmed that Is It Cake? Halloween is officially returning for Season 2, set to premiere globally on October 9, 2026. Host Mikey Day is back with his signature chaos, joined once again by six hyper-realistic cake artists who’ll be pushing their skills further than ever to fool a fresh lineup of celebrity judges.

This time, the stakes feel bigger. The new season promises the “largest, spookiest cakes” the show has attempted yet, all while contestants compete for a cash prize and the coveted title of Halloween Champion. With three fast-paced, 40-minute episodes, it’s shaping up to be a perfectly bingeable pre-Halloween treat.

Who’s Back in the Kitchen?

The six returning cake artists — Bonne Bedingfield, Corinna Maguire, Frankie Velez, Mike Elder, Rodolfo Goncalves, and Tiphani Anderson — will once again try to trick guest judges with cakes disguised as everyday (and eerie) objects. Fans of the franchise’s uncanny realism will have plenty to look forward to.

Adding extra buzz, Episode 2 features a mini Wednesday reunion with Hunter Doohan, Isaac Ordonez, and Joy Sunday joining as guest judges — a fun crossover moment for fans of the Netflix hit.

Halloween Season 2: Overview

A Franchise That Keeps Growing

Since debuting in 2022, the Is It Cake? franchise has become a reliable Netflix staple, blending competitive baking with the visual trickery popularized by the trompe-l’œil art tradition — the same “fool the eye” concept that makes these cakes so mesmerizing to watch. With multiple holiday specials already under its belt, this Halloween edition continues the show’s strategy of tying content drops to seasonal moments.
