Between Steps Teaser: Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo’s Fated First Love Unfolds in ENA’s New Romance

Some love stories start with a nervous confession and a whole lot of butterflies — and that’s exactly the energy ENA’s newest romance drama is bottling up. The first teaser and poster for “Between Steps” just dropped, and Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo’s chemistry is already the talk of the fandom.

A Story of Two People Finding Their Way

“Between Steps” is a new romance drama helmed by the late director Ahn Pan Seok, known for hit dramas like “Something in the Rain,” “One Spring Night,” and “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.” The show follows Park Min Jae (Choo Young Woo), a former swimmer who lost his right leg to illness, and Im Yoo Jin (Kim So Hyun), a graduate student searching for a new direction after losing her way in life.

What ‘Between Steps’ Teaser Reveals

The newly released teaser wastes no time diving into the pair’s whirlwind romance. It opens with Park Min Jae boldly confessing his feelings to a startled Im Yoo Jin, followed by a voiceover asking whether it felt like love at first sight. Im Yoo Jin answers by confessing her feelings right back. The teaser builds toward a tender, poetic exchange between the two before they lean in for a kiss — setting the tone for a romance that feels both vulnerable and instantly magnetic.

The accompanying poster shows the couple sharing matching smiles on campus while eating ice cream, with a tagline describing their story as “spicy, bitter, and sweet” — a fitting description for two people still inexperienced in love.

Why Fans Are Already Invested

Add in Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo’s natural on-screen chemistry, and this teaser alone has already generated significant buzz ahead of the October premiere.
