Flex X Cop 2: The Setup

Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who leans on his wealth and connections whenever a case stalls. In Season 2, he’s partnered with veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, as they investigate a string of chilling disappearances.

What’s Making Jin Yi Soo Suspicious

The case centers on Yoo Sung Won, a world-renowned sculptor Jin Yi Soo has treated like a younger brother for years. Joo Hye Ra previously revealed her suspicion that Yoo Sung Won is behind the disappearances, and that theory only gained weight when it emerged that his models had also gone missing overseas in the UK. For Jin Yi Soo, this creates an impossible position: as a detective, he can’t ignore the mounting clues, but as a friend, suspecting Yoo Sung Won feels almost unthinkable.

What The New Stills Show

The latest images capture Jin Yi Soo visiting Yoo Sung Won’s studio for what looks, at first glance, like an ordinary catch-up over whiskey. But the mood has shifted — Jin Yi Soo’s usual warmth is replaced by a wary, searching look, while Yoo Sung Won wears an unreadable smile that only deepens the tension.

In a separate set of stills, Jin Yi Soo visits Joo Hye Ra’s apartment, where her walls are covered in case evidence: photos of the missing victims, images of Yoo Sung Won’s sculptures, and various reed samples. His conflicted expression while reviewing the evidence suggests he’s beginning to grasp just how thoroughly she’s been building her case.

The Big Question

Will Jin Yi Soo let go of decades of trust and team up with Joo Hye Ra to expose the truth — or will his loyalty to Yoo Sung Won cloud his judgment at the worst possible moment? That tension is exactly what’s fueling anticipation for the episode.
