“A Bona Fide Killer” Preview: Kong Hyo Jin’s Sniper Mom Hunts A Scammer While Jung Jun Won Closes In On Her Secret

A mom chasing a scammer through back alleys with nothing but a canned drink in hand? That’s a Tuesday for Kingfisher. The newest stills from MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” prove this action-thriller knows exactly how to keep viewers hooked. The Story So Far

Based on a hit webtoon, the drama follows Kong Hyo Jin as Yu Bo Na — an ordinary sales manager by day, legendary sniper “Kingfisher” by night, just trying to protect her work-life balance while living a double life.

What’s New In This Episode

Yu Bo Na sets out after the voice-phishing scammer who conned her mother-in-law, chasing him relentlessly through the alleys — steely-eyed, and armed with nothing more dangerous than a soda can, which somehow still looks lethal in her hands.

Meanwhile, Kwon Tae Sung follows a sticker found at an orphanage straight to Oki Flower Shop — which happens to double as Yu Bo Na’s secret training ground. Neither of them realizes it yet, but their paths are about to cross.

Why This Matters For The Bigger Mystery

Lee Dong Jin joins the special team hunting Kingfisher just as the investigation heats up following an assassination attempt on Jang Eun Hak. He’s shown standing on the rooftop where a shooting occurred at the World Cup eight years ago — and a new witness is about to flip the case on its head. Between Kwon Tae Sung inching closer to Yu Bo Na’s world and Lee Dong Jin digging into her past, the walls are closing in from two directions at once.

When To Watch

The next episode airs September 4 at 9:50 p.m. KST, with subtitles available to stream on Viki.
