“Solo Leveling” Live-Action Just Got Two New Reported Cast Members

The E-rank hunter’s world just got bigger. As Netflix’s live-action “Solo Leveling” quietly assembles one of 2026’s most-watched K-drama casts, two fresh names have entered the picture — though officially, the ink isn’t dry yet.

What’s Being Reported

On September 3, News1 reported that Sung Joon and Kim Si Ah are set to join the adaptation, though both actors’ agencies responded with the classic “nothing has been confirmed” — standard industry caution before an official announcement.

Byeon Woo-seok, fresh off his breakout in “Lovely Runner,” remains confirmed as the lead, playing Sung Jin Woo — the story’s weakest-turned-strongest hunter.

Who Are the New Additions Playing?

Kim Si Ah is reportedly set to play Han Song Yi, a close friend of Sung Jin Woo’s younger sister, Sung Jin Ah — a role likely to add emotional grounding outside the hunter world. Sung Joon, meanwhile, is tipped to play Woo Jin Chul, one of the story’s key supporting allies who back Jin Woo’s rise through the ranks.

Why This Adaptation Has So Much Riding On It

Originally a web novel before becoming a webtoon and a hit anime, “Solo Leveling” has one of the most passionate global fanbases in recent memory. Byeon Woo-seok’s casting alone sent ripples through the fandom, building on a career trajectory TechnoSports has tracked closely — from his Lovely Runner breakout to his upcoming Solo Leveling lead role, cementing him as one of the industry’s fastest-rising stars.

With this many names circling the project, Netflix clearly isn’t treating this adaptation lightly — and fans should expect more confirmations soon.
